Many of our team members have progressed into other roles within the organisation.What you'll be doing Provide general business and admin support to keep daily operations running smoothlyTaking notes at meetings for various departments within the Council in the format of manual note taking where the process of recording information is by hand or using a digital screen i.e. typing via use if a laptop where the meeting permitsProvide accurate notes of meetings following attendance at statutory and non-statutory meetingsYou will be part of a team supporting general Business Support to various service areas within the Council to ensure we provide reliable support and adhere to the Service Level AgreementsManaging and organising information including working with confidential data, documents, and records responsibly Using Microsoft Office including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint and MS Teams for data entry, word processing and communication tasksData input into various systems, including Oracle, Apex and CivicaCollaborating with internal team and external customers to provide helpful, professional serviceHelping the team meet important deadlines through strong organisation and attention to detail What skills you need We're proud to be an organisation led by Our Behaviours of Respect, Integrity and Flexibility and we look for people who demonstrate these behaviours in everyday life and in their work.We value skills developed through education, volunteering, caring responsibilities, and other life experiences - and we'll support you to grow and build confidence in the role.
