Children's Team Manager - Youth Justice

Our Client, Rochdale Council, is seeking an experienced Children’s Team Manager to join their Team. Negotiable Hybrid Working Option Available! Fantastic payrate of £45 per hour! Responsibilities of this role: Copilot said: Lead and manage a multi-disciplinary Youth Justice Team to deliver high-quality services to children and young people. Oversee case management, ensuring interventions are effective, timely, and outcome-focused. Supervise, support, and develop staff through regular performance management and coaching. Ensure compliance with youth justice legislation, safeguarding requirements, and national standards. Manage complex and high-risk cases, providing guidance and decision-making support to practitioners. Build and maintain effective partnerships with police, courts, education, health, social care, and community organisations. Monitor service performance and implement improvements to reduce reoffending and improve outcomes. Ensure high-quality assessments, reports, and court documentation are completed within required timescales. Lead on safeguarding and risk management to protect young people, victims, and the wider community. Manage team resources and budgets to ensure efficient and effective service delivery. Represent the Youth Justice Service at strategic meetings, panels, and multi-agency forums. Contribute to service development, policy implementation, and continuous improvement initiatives. Requirements of this role: Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
