Data Insights Editor Intern

Join Stats Perform as a Data Insights Editor Intern to create data-driven sports content and gain hands-on experience in sports technology.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

  • Content creation as part of a team delivering data editorial reports and insights to media, professional clubs, brands, and governing bodies.
  • Source, produce, and distribute data-led content for digital and traditional clients, supporting internal partners such as The Analyst.
  • Liaise with international data editorial teams to ensure smooth workflow of content.
  • Create social media content as part of a team.
  • Innovate and display creativity with new ideas on using data to enhance storytelling capabilities.

About You

The company is looking for:

  • Extensive knowledge of all sports, especially football, with additional knowledge of rugby, cricket, basketball, golf, tennis, and motorsports as an advantage.
  • Broad knowledge and keen interest in sports, especially English league football.
  • Knowledge of European football, mainly Spain, France, Germany, and Italy.
  • Ability to produce data-focused editorial content and reports to a high standard.
  • Understanding of how raw data can be turned into compelling insight and shareable content.
  • Deep knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
  • Ability to work well to tight deadlines in a highly pressurized environment.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English; knowledge of another language is desirable.
