This is a hands-on architecture and subject matter expert role, sitting at the intersection of engineering, compliance and revenue protection - you'll shape how content, metadata and monetisation systems work together across the business.<br /> <br /> What will you be doing?<br /> <br /> • Design end-to-end solutions across linear broadcast, VOD, FAST, OTT and metadata workflows, keeping streaming and linear platforms consistent<br /> • Document technical architectures for playout, MAM, scheduling, ad-tech and compliance systems<br /> • Act as senior subject matter expert on linear and VOD broadcasting, advising on system behaviour, integration constraints and risk<br /> • Provide specialist 3rd-line support during incidents affecting revenue, ad-tech performance or contractual obligations<br /> • Diagnose issues affecting ad classification, insertion, platform matching and monetisation<br /> • Partner with operations, ad-sales and technology teams to find inefficiencies and design improvements<br /> • Lead or contribute to proofs-of-concept, testing new approaches before wider rollout<br /> • Support delivery teams through testing, go-live and hyper-care<br /> • Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders through diagrams, impact assessments and documentation<br /> <br /> What are we looking for?<br /> <br /> Essential<br /> <br /> • Significant experience as a linear broadcasting subject matter expert, ideally across global and public service broadcaster environments, with deep knowledge of Broadcast Management Systems and complex content/metadata workflows<br /> • 10+ years in VOD/OTT technology, including ad-supported delivery (AVOD/BVOD)<br /> • Strong background in solution architecture, systems integration (including APIs) and change delivery<br /> • Solid understanding of PSB constraints and regulatory obligations, with the ability to protect revenue-critical workflows<br /> • Track record of resolving complex, high-pressure operational issues quickly and accurately<br /> • Strong communication skills, with the ability to flex your style across audiences<br /> • A collaborative, practical and detail-focused approach, with sound judgement on technical trade-offs<br /> <br /> Desirable<br /> <br /> • Experience with broadcast management applications (e.g. Mediagenix WhatsOn) and MAM, compliance or playout systems<br /> • Comfortable using AI tools to boost productivity<br /> • Experience defining cross-platform workflows that treat streaming and linear equally<br /> • Strong documentation skills - architecture diagrams, impact assessments, technical writing<br /> <br /> #LI-RE1<br /> <br /> Paramount Skydance Corporation (NASDAQ: PSKY) is a leading global media and entertainment company that creates premium content and experiences for audiences worldwide.
