Engineering Contract Manager- Commercial Building

We are currently seeking an experienced Engineering Contract Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day operation of a flagship commercial building in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the building's engineering infrastructure, managing a team of engineers and technicians, and ensuring the highest levels of tenant satisfaction.<br><br>The information below covers the role requirements, expected candidate experience, and accompanying qualifications.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li> Ensure the smooth running of the building's engineering infrastructure, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fire systems.</li><li> Manage a team of engineers and technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure the highest levels of performance and productivity.</li><li> Develop and maintain strong relationships with tenants, ensuring their needs and requirements are met in a timely and efficient manner.</li><li> Ensure that all engineering works are carried out to the highest standards, in compliance with industry regulations and best practices.</li><li> Work closely with the Facilities Manager to develop and implement maintenance schedules, ensuring that all equipment is serviced and maintained to the highest standards.</li><li> Manage all aspects of the engineering budget, ensuring that costs are controlled and kept within agreed limits.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Key Requirements<br><br></strong><ul><li> Demonstrable experience in a similar Engineering Manager role, ideally within a commercial building environment.</li><li> Strong technical knowledge across a range of engineering disciplines, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fire systems.</li><li> Excellent people management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team of engineers and technicians.</li><li> Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with tenants, contractors and other stakeholders.</li><li> Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.</li><li> Strong financial acumen, with the ability to manage budgets and control costs effectively.
