Core-Global Protection Ltd is recruiting professional male and female SIA Door Supervisors to join our hospitality events team in Central London.

This is casual, seasonal work, typically available a few Sundays each month, making it ideal for officers looking to supplement their existing security work.

You'll be working at high-end restaurant events featuring DJs, music and dancing, with guest numbers of up to 400 people. Events are staffed by a professional security team of around 10 officers, working closely together to provide a safe, welcoming and enjoyable environment.

Duties

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Access control

  • ID and age verification

  • Guest searches using metal detectors and body scanners

  • Bag searches where required

  • Crowd management

  • Monitoring guest behaviour and identifying potential risks

  • De-escalating incidents professionally

  • Assisting venue management and emergency services when required

  • Maintaining a strong but approachable security presence

  • Delivering excellent customer service throughout the event

Typical Shifts
  • Primarily Sundays

  • Typical hours: 15:00–23:00 (occasionally finishing before midnight)

  • Minimum 8 hours paid

  • Additional shifts may become available throughout the year

Requirements

Applicants must have:

  • A valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence

  • The legal right to work in the UK

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • A professional and confident attitude

  • Strong observation and conflict management skills

  • Reliability and punctuality

  • The ability to work effectively within a large security team

  • Hospitality, events or licensed venue experience is desirable

As we provide security for premium hospitality venues, all officers are expected to maintain a high standard of appearance and professionalism.

  • Smart black overcoat when required

  • Excellent personal hygiene

  • Well-groomed hair

  • Clean-shaven or neatly trimmed beard

  • No chewing gum while on duty

  • Professional, polite and approachable manner at all times
