<p>Movera are looking for a skilled and adaptable <strong>Full Stack Developer</strong> in our Microsoft- and Azure-centric environment to join our Technology Team on a <strong>6 Month Fixed Term Contract</strong>.</p><p class="MsoNormal">This is a hands-on development role focused on modernising and integrating legacy systems with cloud-first, full-stack solutions. You will be responsible for delivering secure, high-performance applications and services, and supporting the full software development lifecycle—from analysis and design through implementation, testing, and deployment.</p><p class="MsoNormal">We expect a mix of <strong>technical expertise </strong>and <strong>architecture-level thinking</strong>.</p><p class="MsoNormal"><strong>Important Requirement:</strong> This is a UK-based remote role. Our vision is to create moving and remortgaging experiences to be celebrated – not tolerated.</p><p><strong>Core Technical Expectations</strong></p><p class="MsoNormal"><strong>Backend Development (C# / .NET)</strong></p><ul><li class="MsoNormal"><p>Mastery of <a target="_blank" href="http://ASP.NET"><strong>ASP.NET</strong></a><strong> Core</strong>, including minimal APIs and middleware pipelines.</p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p>Proficient in designing and implementing <strong>RESTful APIs</strong> (using controllers or minimal APIs).</p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p>Comfortable with <strong>asynchronous programming</strong>, cancellation tokens, background services, and parallelism.</p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p>Experience with <strong>Dependency Injection</strong>, middleware, and custom service abstractions.</p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p>Skilled at structuring solutions using <strong>Domain-Driven Design</strong> (DDD) or at least modular, testable components.</p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p>Strong debugging and profiling skills.</p></li></ul><p class="MsoNormal"><strong>Azure Cloud Proficiency</strong></p><ul><li class="MsoNormal"><p>Solid experience deploying and managing:</p><ul><li class="MsoNormal"><p><strong>Azure Function Apps</strong> (timer, HTTP, queue/storage/event triggers).</p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p><strong>App Services</strong> and <strong>Web Apps</strong>.</p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p><strong>API Management</strong></p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p><strong>Azure Front Door/CDN</strong> (optional but helpful).</p></li></ul></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p>Familiar with <strong>Storage Accounts</strong>, <strong>Blob/Table/Queue Storage</strong>, <strong>Key Vault</strong>, <strong>App Configuration</strong>.</p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p>Familiar with <strong>Service Bus</strong>, <strong>Event Grid</strong>, <strong>Event Hubs</strong> (for scalable event-driven designs).</p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p>Can interpret and design architectures in <strong>Azure Architecture Center</strong> diagrams.</p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p>Recommend <strong>appropriate Azure services</strong> based on the problem (e.g., Durable Functions for orchestrations, Logic Apps vs Functions, etc.).</p></li></ul><p class="MsoNormal"><strong>DevOps & CI/CD (Azure DevOps)</strong></p><ul><li class="MsoNormal"><p>Writes and maintains <strong>multi-stage YAML pipelines</strong> (build, test, deploy).</p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p>Integrates tests (unit, integration, smoke) into CI/CD.</p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p>Understands <strong>ARM templates</strong>, <strong>Bicep</strong>, or <strong>Terraform</strong> for IaC (preferred but optional).</p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p>Ensures <strong>deployment slots</strong>, <strong>release approvals</strong>, and <strong>feature flags</strong> are well utilized.</p></li></ul><p class="MsoNormal"><strong>Frontend</strong></p><ul><li class="MsoNormal"><p>Strong with <strong>modern SPA frameworks</strong> like <strong>React</strong>, <strong>Angular</strong>, or <strong>Blazor</strong>.</p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p>Comfortable integrating with APIs, handling authentication, and state management.</p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p>Uses component-based architecture, lazy loading, and follows accessibility/responsiveness best practices.</p></li></ul><p class="MsoNormal"><strong>Database (SQL Server/Azure SQL)</strong></p><ul><li class="MsoNormal"><p>Skilled in:</p><ul><li class="MsoNormal"><p>Writing optimized <strong>T-SQL</strong>, views, indexes, and stored procedures.</p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p>Designing normalized and/or denormalized schemas depending on use case.</p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p>Managing migrations using <strong>EF Core</strong> (preferably fluent in IEntityTypeConfiguration<T>).</p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p>Interpreting query execution plans for performance tuning.</p></li></ul></li></ul><p class="MsoNormal"><strong>Desirable Qualifications & Experience:</strong></p><ul><li class="MsoNormal"><p>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.</p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p>Experience in modernising or migrating legacy systems.</p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p>Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate or similar.</p></li></ul><p><span><strong>What We Offer</strong></span></p><p><span>We aim to reward your hard work generously.
