General Assistant (Part-Time) Location: Whitstable Hours: 15 hours per week Are you hands-on, customer-focused, and enjoy variety in your working day? The Role As a General Assistant, no two days will be the same. You will support the day-to-day operations across various areas, helping to ensure facilities are clean, welcoming, and ready for guests and visitors. Key Responsibilities Preparing bedrooms and accommodation areas for guest arrivals Cleaning and maintaining public areas to a high standard Ensuring internal and external areas are clean, tidy, and presentable Keeping office spaces clean and free from rubbish Supporting other departments, including events and hospitality functions, as required Assisting with general housekeeping and operational tasks Providing excellent customer service at all times About You We're looking for someone who: Has a positive, friendly, and professional attitude Enjoys delivering excellent customer service Is reliable, adaptable, and willing to help wherever needed Can work effectively both independently and as part of a team Has previous experience in hospitality, housekeeping, cleaning, or a similar environment Is comfortable handling cash and operating a till Takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation Desirable (but not essential) Food Hygiene Certificate First Aid Certification What's on Offer?
