HYBRID EXECUTIVE & PRIVATE ASSISTANT TO ENTREPRENEURIAL INVESTOR

We are delighted to be recruiting for a bright, highly organised and commercially minded Executive & Private Assistant to support a successful international investor and entrepreneur across both his business and private affairs.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a small and entrepreneurial investment company with an international outlook and interests spanning technology, innovation and high-growth businesses. Working closely with the Principal and one of his business partners, the successful candidate will become an integral part of a close-knit team, providing approximately 75% business support alongside 25% private and household assistance.

This is a genuinely hybrid position, both in terms of the working arrangement and the scope of the role. The majority of the position can be performed remotely, with a Central London office available when required, the core hours are 9am to 6pm with flexibility outside of this to respond to urgent matters.

On the business side, you will provide broad administrative and executive support across the Principal's investment activities, managing correspondence, coordinating complex international travel, liaising with external parties and assisting with business documentation and ongoing projects. The role would particularly suit someone commercially curious who is comfortable working with confidential information and able to quickly understand the context behind a task rather than simply following instructions.

Alongside this, you will oversee elements of the Principal's private and household administration, acting as a key point of contact for household staff and external service providers, coordinating payments and payroll administration and ensuring day-to-day matters are handled efficiently.

The Principal is particularly interested in technology and actively uses AI in his work, so an interest in AI and experience with tools such as ChatGPT and Claude would be a real advantage. Equally important is personality: he is looking for someone calm, precise and solutions-focused who takes ownership of problems and resolves them independently.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious EA who enjoys variety and wants exposure to both the business and private world of a successful international investor. There is real scope to make the position your own and become a trusted right hand within a growing business.

DUTIES TO INCLUDE:

  • Providing a high standard of EA support to the Principal and one of his business partners when required
  • Managing correspondence, diaries, meetings and appointments across business and private commitments
  • Coordinating international travel, including commercial and private aviation
  • Liaising with investors, advisers, professional contacts and external service providers
  • Preparing and coordinating business documentation, including NDAs, agreements and documents for signature
  • Tracking actions and ensuring tasks are followed through to completion
  • Using AI and technology to improve day-to-day processes and efficiency
  • Managing relationships with household staff and private service providers
  • Overseeing household administration, invoices, payments and payroll
  • Liaising with nannies and household staff when required
  • Assisting with personal appointments, bookings and general private administration
  • Proactively resolving issues and anticipating requirements
  • Maintaining complete discretion across all business and private matters
  • Providing additional ad hoc support and errand running as required

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
  • Previous EA, Private PA experience supporting HNW entrepreneurs or business leaders
  • Commercially minded with a genuine interest in business, investment and entrepreneurship
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Proactive, resourceful and able to take ownership of tasks from start to finish
  • Calm, precise and solutions-focused with a low-ego approach
  • Confident working independently and using initiative
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable dealing with senior stakeholders and external advisers
  • Tech-savvy with experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude
  • Comfortable supporting across both business and private matters
  • Highly discreet, trustworthy and professional
  • Flexible and responsive when required outside core hours due to international commitments
  • London based and happy to attend the Central London office when required
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Excellent verifiable references
