Join our team and start your journey today!<br><br>As a highly valued member of the Forney, TX Team, this role will support the Warehouse Supervisor in the day-to-day shipping and receiving operations, ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures. Foster a team atmosphere, provide vision, and demonstrate support of the company’s core processes.<br><br><strong><strong>AS A MATERIAL HANDLER, YOU WILL:<br><br></strong></strong><ul><li>Receives incoming material or product, properly identifies and places in proper storage or staging area.</li><li>Ensures proper documentation and filing of paperwork for all material or product; maintains electronic records in the system and mainframe as necessary.</li><li>Locates and delivers material and/or product to other departments for their use or storage; assists Quality in the movement of material or product.</li><li>Performs audits of product and material to ensure that the proper receipt of shipment is made; audits and completes inventory of product in storerooms and/or warehouses.</li><li>Properly stores and/or delivers packaging materials to other departments.</li><li>Combines product/material on pallets or in containers to prepare for further use or shipment.</li><li>Uses pallet moving equipment to transfer material and product to and from trailers; relocates material/product to storage or usage areas (stand-up and sit-down forklifts, scissor lift, etc.)</li><li>Assure compliance with all OSHA regulations, safety standards and company processes and procedures.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.<br><br></li></ul><strong><strong>REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS: <br><br></strong></strong><ul><li>Must be at least 18 years of age.</li><li>Must have a high school diploma or GED.</li><li>Ability to obtain and maintain licensing to operate material handling equipment including reach lift, dock stocker, stand up, and sit down</li><li>Must be flexible on work hours and able to work overtime as needed.</li><li>Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.</li><li>Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time.</li><li>Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, and push or pull parts or containers frequently.</li><li>Ability to read and understand job instructions.</li><li>Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check, essential functions assessment, and drug screen.<br><br></li></ul><strong><strong>PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:<br><br></strong></strong><ul><li>Knowledge of Manhattan WMS<br><br></li></ul><strong>Our Commitment to Our People<br><br></strong>Across the globe, we are united by a singular Purpose: Sustainability is no small ambition.
