Your job is to create English subtitles for original content, helping our clips reach a broader audience.</p> <p>If you’re a native English speaker with experience translating for subtitles or writing literal scripts, you may be a great fit for CreatorGlobal.</p> <p><strong>Role Overview</strong></p> <p>Are you an experienced subtitling specialist who works efficiently in fast-paced environments and enjoys using unconventional tools? We’re seeking an English subtitling expert to join our localization team and support an innovative workflow for producing subtitles for MrBeast content.</p> <p>In this role, you’ll create, edit, and deliver English subtitles for MrBeast’s weekly YouTube videos. You’ll manage every step of the subtitling process to ensure timely delivery to CreatorGlobal leadership. You’ll also help improve the evolving subtitling workflow by applying your expertise in a continuously developing production environment.</p> <p>Additional responsibilities include managing subtitle versions and translations and performing reviews, updating styling and content, maintaining change logs and transcript backups, conducting quality checks for subtitles, and supporting custom subtitle and localization translation requests as needed.</p> <p>What You’ll Do</p> <ul> <li>Create English subtitles for weekly YouTube content, ensuring linguistic accuracy and alignment with standard subtitling guidelines.</li> <li>Review feedback from team members or leadership and incorporate it into updated subtitle versions.</li> <li>Handle additional needs such as creating different subtitle variants, adjusting subtitles for new video references/cues, and completing translation/script quality checks.</li> <li>Learn and adapt to our proprietary tool, using a workflow similar to familiar subtitling applications while producing specialized formatting.</li> <li>Work with a flexible schedule and deliver subtitle files shortly after video publishing.</li> <li>Provide clear updates to CreatorGlobal leadership regarding tool issues, inconsistencies, or workflow improvements.</li> </ul> <p>What We’re Looking For</p> <ul> <li>Excellent command of English as a native language</li> <li>Professional experience in subtitling translation, or related experience such as transcribing, dialog lists, dubbing/alignment, ad script/copywriting, subtitle templates, proofreading/editing, and more</li> <li>Flexibility to respond to late requests and begin right after the video is delivered</li> <li>Comfort working with proprietary or non-standard tools</li> <li>Cross-disciplinary strengths—experience in coding, a genuine interest in motion graphics/animation, media production, or UX is a plus</li> <li>Knowledge of subtitle file formats in addition to SRT, such as ASS and VTT, or formats that include style metadata</li> <li>Experience with subtitling tools and video tools like OOONA, Subtitle Edit, Aegisub, Adobe Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, or similar</li> <li>Ability to troubleshoot independently and escalate clearly when needed</li> <li>Strong attention to detail and reliable performance, especially under time constraints</li> </ul> <p>Location: Remote</p> <p>Hiring Process<br /> If we decide to move forward with your application, we’ll conduct a one-on-one initial interview with a member of our leadership team, followed by a case study, and then a final interview with senior members of the CG leadership team.
