Enterprise New Business Account Executive @ Connect

The Enterprise New Business Account Executive will be responsible for identifying, developing and closing strategic new business opportunities across enterprise accounts.

This role is focused heavily on outbound sales activity, enterprise account penetration, pipeline generation and long-term account development within large organisations.

The successful individual will work closely with internal stakeholders, strategic vendor partners and leadership teams to build and execute targeted account growth plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive net-new business acquisition across enterprise accounts • Identify, target and penetrate strategic enterprise organisations • Build and execute detailed Account Development Plans (ADPs) • Develop and manage a focused Top 25 target account strategy • Generate pipeline through proactive outbound activity including cold outreach,

networking and strategic prospecting • Build relationships with senior decision-makers across customer organisations • Work collaboratively with vendor partners to identify whitespace opportunities

and drive co-sell activity • Position and sell CX, Contact Centre, AI and Cloud solutions into enterprise

environments • Maintain strong pipeline hygiene, forecasting accuracy and CRM discipline • Consistently exceed revenue and gross profit targets

 

What We’re Looking For

Essential Experience

• Proven track record in enterprise new business sales • Experience selling into enterprise organisations within:

o Contact Centre o Customer Experience (CX) o Cloud o Networking o AI-driven solutions

 

 

• Strong experience in outbound prospecting and pipeline creation • Demonstrated success achieving and exceeding GP/revenue targets • Ability to develop senior stakeholder relationships • Commercially driven with strong negotiation and closing skills

 

Preferred Vendor / Technology Exposure

Experience with one or more of the following would be advantageous:

Genesys, Five9, AWS, Salesforce, Zendesk, Cisco ecosystem

However, proven enterprise sales capability is considered more important than specific vendor alignment.
