Night Nanny in Canary Wharf, London - FILLED

Fantastic Opportunity for a Night Nanny in the Canary Wharf

We’re excited to share a wonderful opportunity for an experienced night nurse to support a first-time family in Central London as they welcome their precious 2-week-old baby. The parents are looking for a nurturing and skilled professional to help them during the night, 3 nights a week, for approximately two months, but it could be longer. This is a live-out role, and the hours will generally be from 9.00 / 10.00 pm to 7.00 / 8.00am.

As their night nurse, you’ll play a key role in helping the family adjust to life with their newborn. Your main focus will be providing gentle, attentive care during the night, ensuring the baby is fed, settled, and comfortable. You’ll handle all the overnight duties, from nappy changes and soothing to winding and settling the little one back to sleep.

The parents are very hands-on and will be doing the majority of the care themselves, but they’re looking for someone to step in on those 3 nights to give them a chance to rest and recharge.

In addition to caring for the baby, you’ll help keep the nursery area tidy and support the family in establishing a gentle night time routine. The parents are keen to encourage self-settling as the baby grows, so your experience and calm, patient approach will be invaluable.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience as a night nurse or maternity nurse, and any background in neonatal care or midwifery would be a huge plus. You should be comfortable supporting both breast and bottle feeding and happy to work alongside fully involved parents who are eager to learn and grow in their new roles.

This is a temporary position and duration can be discussed and arranged to suit every party's needs.

The salary for this role is fully negotiable for the right candidate.
