Phone appointment setter, UK-based, warm B2B leads (paid per lead + commission)

I run a small digital agency and we're expanding into the UK. I'm looking for a UK-based caller to ring small UK businesses in the home energy sector. Every one of them will already have been emailed a free sample of our work, so they'll know who we are when you call. Your job is to follow up by phone with a short script and book 20-minute video calls.

There are about 100 leads to start, and new ones are added every week as more samples go out.

Pay:

- £2 for every lead you work, whether it books or not. At about 8 leads an hour, that's roughly £16 an hour before any commission.

- £60 for each video call that goes ahead

- £100 for each lead that becomes a paying client

A lead counts as worked once you've spoken to someone there, or made 3 call attempts on different days and logged the outcome.

Getting through to the right person is the main part of this job. Ask for the owner by name, find out when they're in, and call back then.

How it works:

- We start with a paid trial on the first 20 leads at the same rates. I listen back to the calls, and if it's a good fit you carry on with the rest.

- You pick your own hours, within business hours, Monday to Friday.

- You get the lead list and a script that's already working, and calling is set up for you in our CRM. Every call is recorded.

- Pay goes through Upwork, with commission paid as a bonus.

You'll need a clear speaking voice and to be comfortable ringing business owners. You also need to be reliable, because one person works the whole list and I'm counting on you to keep at it each week. Phone sales or appointment setting experience is a plus.

To apply, tell me about any phone sales or appointment setting you've done and when you could start. If you can, attach a short voice note introducing yourself as if you were ringing a business owner.
