Warehouse Operative (PM Shift), Minworth

£32,534 per annum

38 days' holiday per year (including bank holidays)

Permanent | Full Time | 40 hours per week

Monday to Friday | 17:00pm-02:00am

Premier Paper Group is the UK's largest independent paper merchant and we're looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our afternoon/night shift in Minworth.

This is a hands-on role in a fast paced warehouse where you will work as part of a medium sized team and be responsible for picking customer orders and loading/unloading.

This role involves regular manual handling, operating warehouse equipment and working on your feet throughout the shift. You'll need to be comfortable in a busy warehouse environment where safety and accuracy are essential. Full site and role training will be provided; a current FLT (VNA/HLOP) licence is essential.

What you'll receive

  • £32,534 annual salary.
  • Overtime paid at time and a half.
  • 38 days' holiday per year (including bank holidays).
  • Monthly bonus of up to £150 dependant on performance
  • Christmas Eve shutdown through to the New Year.
  • Monday to Friday working pattern – no weekend working apart from the annual stock take.

What you'll be doing

  • Accurately picking & palletising customer orders.
  • Loading/unloading of trailers/vehicles.
  • Operating warehouse equipment safely.
  • Maintaining stock accuracy and good housekeeping standards.
  • Working towards picking and loading targets.
  • Following all Health & Safety procedures.

What we're looking for

  • VNA/HLOP (essential)
  • Previous warehouse experience.
  • A reliable team player with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication skills.

Full training will be provided.
