While the Bechtel Projects you support may change over time, you will initially be supporting two projects in the London area. We are expecting near term award of these contracts.

Job Summary:

As an HR Professional, you will interact with Bechtel staff to answer and resolve inquiries on HR policies, ensure alignment and effectiveness of activities, compare with industry trends, and recommend and coordinate process improvements. You will coordinate employee engagement initiatives and drive operational efficiency to achieve desired results.

3 days of in person attendance is required / 2 days WFH. Office is located in Covent Garden.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Plans and implements assigned project HR activities and programs; executes staffing initiatives, employee engagement, training and development, and visa management
Models and instills the culture and organizational values within project.Prepares offers, and manages onboarding for staffing needs on projectIndependently manages onboarding and offboarding processesAids in identifying training and development opportunitiesProvides guidance on policy interpretation and labor lawHandles sensitive employee relations concerns and supports investigationsAnalyzes HR data and recommends adjustments to improve compliance or workforce planning

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Requires a relevant bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and ideally you will have more than 5 yrs of relevant experience .

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • A strong understanding of UK employment law
An interest in and understanding of best practice and innovation in Human ResourcesStrong organisational, communication, and interpersonal relationship skills.Ability to work effectively under pressure with changing priorities and deadlinesAbility to satisfactorily pass a background check and drug and security screeningsMay be required to obtain site access or a UK security clearance
