About the Client

A data and analytics software company serving the catering industry is looking for a Full-Stack Software Engineer to double its engineering capacity and ship production-ready features end-to-end.

The company builds an analytics platform that integrates with point-of-sale systems. Engineering is lean, with one CTO currently handling all technical work, and the stack is JavaScript and TypeScript throughout. The team builds with Claude Code and Codex, and the next 12–24 months of the roadmap is greenfield work on API integrations and data pipelines.

About the Role

This role reports directly to the CTO and owns features from planning through production monitoring across React and Next.js, Node.js and Express, MongoDB, and Google Cloud Platform. Day to day, it covers new feature development, bug triage from client Slack channels, package updates, and light infrastructure work. Success in the first 30 days means adopting the team’s agentic coding workflow, shipping a production bug fix, deploying a smaller feature end-to-end, and giving feedback on a larger one.

Core Responsibilities

New Feature Development

  • Design, build, test, and deploy production features end-to-end with minimal supervision.
  • Integrate third-party point-of-sale APIs and build data pipelines that feed user-facing analytics.
  • Implement AI-driven features using the Claude and OpenAI APIs.
  • Join planning and brainstorming sessions and give feedback on larger feature initiatives.

Code Maintenance & Infrastructure

  • Triage and fix bugs reported through client Slack channels.
  • Update software packages and patch security vulnerabilities.
  • Maintain uptime of applications running in Google Cloud Platform production environments.
  • Set up schedulers, task queues, and cloud infrastructure to support new features.

Agentic Coding Workflow

  • Apply the team’s multi-worktree workflow in Claude Code and Codex to plan, implement, check, and deploy code.
  • Run parallel workstreams across multiple projects while keeping defect rates low.
  • Maintain test coverage and code quality across parallel workstreams.
  • Review pull requests and flag errors to the team.

Requirements

Must-Have

  • 3–7 years of professional software engineering experience in production environments
  • Production experience with JavaScript and TypeScript across front-end and back-end code
  • Production experience building user-facing applications in React
  • Production experience building and deploying Node.js and Express APIs
  • Hands-on daily use of Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or equivalent agentic coding tools
  • Track record of owning features end-to-end, from design and testing through production deployment
  • English at C1+ CEFR level for daily communication with the CTO and client Slack channels

Nice-to-Have

  • Next.js and MongoDB (or another NoSQL database) experience
  • Google Cloud Platform infrastructure experience
  • Claude API or OpenAI API embedded in production applications
  • Data ingestion pipelines or analytics dashboards built from third-party API data
  • Remote work experience with US-based teams

Benefits

  • Competitive Salary: Based on experience and skills
  • Remote Work: Fully remote—work from anywhere
  • Team Incentives: Recognition for maintaining 100% CRM hygiene and on-time reporting
  • Generous PTO: In accordance with company policy
  • Health Coverage for PH-based talents: HMO coverage after 3 months for full-time employees
