Key Information

  • Job Title: Senior Psychotherapist
  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 09:00am – 17:00pm, Monday to Friday
  • Contract: Permanent
  • Location: Red Moor School, Cornwall, South West England, UK
  • Schedule: Term Time only

Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Senior Psychotherapist to join our developing Clinical Team based at Red Moor School. In this exciting role, you will work collaboratively to deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for pupils with complex communication needs, autism and associated learning and emotional needs. You will implement a holistic, therapeutic approach to helping our pupils in their daily lives, ensuring they are safe, comfortable and healthy. Undertaking all aspects of Psychotherapy clinical duties, you will adhere to professional and regulatory guidelines, carry out specialist individual assessments and interventions, and prepare relevant documentation, including writing reports. A significant element of this role will be working alongside the onsite clinical team to continue to develop the clinical service provision, including providing support and training to staff and parents.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Registered as an Integrative/Play/Drama/Art/Psychotherapist/CBT/Person‑Centred Psychotherapist
  • Clear and concise report writing relating to clinical and research activities
  • Experience working with complex trauma, neurodevelopmental differences and mental health needs
  • Ability to work independently as agreed under supervision
  • Evidence of continuing professional development relevant to the setting
