School Cleaner (3 month fixed term)

Town and Country Cleaners are expanding their team!!

We are looking for a School Cleaning Operative.

This position is 15 hours per week on a 3 month fixed term basis with the potential to extend for the right candidate.

Hours are Monday to Friday 3:00pm - 6:00pm.

This role is £12.71 per hour.

Main Duties

  • Maintain the site to a high cleaning standard in line with the cleaning specification required.
  • Your cleaning duties may include, but are not limited to, toilets, floors, carpets, surfaces, bins, stairwells and communal areas.
  • You will also be responsible of restocking the toilets and sanitary areas if required.
  • Reporting to the office with any issues regarding equipment, stock, or areas.
  • You will also be responsible of unlocking the offices and engaging with the alarm system

Candidate Requirements

  • Cleaning experience is preferred however training will be provided.
  • Knowledge of COSHH and Health and Safety is preferred.
  • Reliable.
  • Live within a commutable distance.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Take pride in their work.
  • Have sufficient documents to pass a Right to Work check and conduct an Enhanced DBS check.

Please note that the role of School Cleaner constitutes as a regulated activity (Included in the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975) and is subject to satisfactory safeguarding checks including the completion of an Enhanced DBS and 2 satisfactory references.
