Our team is highly motivated, collaborative, diverse and caring - come and join us to make a difference to our clients in solving important problems.</p><p></p><p><b>What your days will look like:</b></p><p>As a Senior Manager in our A&D cloud and data transformation team, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers to identify and convert new opportunities. Your extensive A&D industry experience and networks to help us identify, win and deliver projects for our Defence clients. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:</p><ul><li>Leveraging your networks and knowledge to identify and convert new opportunities.</li><li>Contributing to the development of the market for large scale tech enabled transformation delivery – researching opportunities to work with new / existing clients and helping to bring new offers to the market.</li><li>Owning senior stakeholder relationships within Defence clients / broader Defence ecosystem to support the delivery of engagements and enhance your already extensive networks in the market.</li><li>Supporting the design and delivery of iconic, tech-enabled transformation programmes for some of the largest public sector clients in the UK.</li><li>Helping to grow our multi-specialism Defence technology team, developing the tools and techniques that will help our clients transform their ways of working and secure better outcomes for the people and places they serve.</li><li>Leading on the management of engagement commercials, risk and issue management, performance, project and programme management.</li><li>Mentoring and managing junior colleagues and making an active contribution to the development of our cloud and data transformation and A&D communities.</li><li>Developing your own business, technical and global acumen – learn new skills, keep up to date with emerging local, national and global trends - to help us bring the very best of our firm’s diverse and inclusive culture to our clients.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>This role is for you if:</b></p><ul><li>A UK sole national, eligible to obtain BPSS and SC clearance as a minimum</li><li>Possess experience of working in the Defence public sector and bring a network of relationships across the sector.</li><li>Have proven experience of tech-enabled transformation programmes aligned with one of our core skills areas.</li><li>Have a proven track record of building sustainable relationships across multiple teams / departments / organisations.</li><li>Have experience of interpreting strategic, operational and external drivers for change, gaining respect, building trust and inspiring stakeholders.</li><li>Understand transformation opportunities in the Defence sector and the general factors to be considered while designing and implementing complex transformation programmes.</li><li>Have the ability to forecast costs and manage to programme timelines and budget.</li><li>Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop data-driven insights and recommendations.</li><li>Have excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.</li><li>Have the ability to travel as required to meet client needs.</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><b>What you’ll receive from us:   </b></p><p>No matter where you may be in your career or personal life, our <a href="https://www.pwc.co.uk/careers/about-us/reward.html" target="_blank">benefits</a> are designed to add value and support, recognising and rewarding you fairly for your contributions.  </p><p></p><p>We offer a range of benefits including empowered flexibility and a working week split between office, home and client site; private medical cover and 24/7 access to a qualified virtual GP; six volunteering days a year and much more.  </p><br>
