UK SEIS and EIS advance assurance specialist, long-term partner for an accountancy firm

We're Zmartly, a UK accountancy firm. We regularly hear from early-stage founders who want to raise money under SEIS and EIS, and we're looking for a specialist to partner with us long term on the applications.

We hold the client relationship and look after the accounts, Corporation Tax and bookkeeping. What we need from you is the SEIS and EIS work itself:

• advance assurance applications to HMRC, including a review of the business plan and investment documents

• handling HMRC's questions on each application

• the SEIS1 and EIS1 compliance statements after the round, and the SEIS3 and EIS3 investor certificates

• a view on eligibility points such as convertible loan notes, advance subscription agreements and equity for advisors

We have one founder ready now, a pre-revenue tech start-up planning an angel round with a possible accelerator loan note. More will follow.

To move quickly, please reply with:

• how many hours an SEIS advance assurance application usually takes you, and the same for an EIS one and a combined SEIS and EIS one

• how many hours the compliance statement and investor certificates take after the round

• how many advance assurance applications you've submitted in the last 12 months, and how many were approved

• your qualifications (for example CTA, ACCA or ICAEW) and whether you hold professional indemnity insurance

• your turnaround from receiving the business plan to submission

UK-qualified specialists only, please, as the work is under UK tax law.

Thanks
