Video Editor – Motion Graphics

This a Full Remote job, the offer is available from: Anywhere

This is a remote position.

We are looking for a Video Editor who understands how content performs on social media and how ad creatives drive conversions. This role is focused heavily on editing short-form videos, performance marketing creatives, and motion-led content for D2C brands across platforms like Instagram, Meta, and YouTube.

You’ll work closely with strategists, performance marketers, and creative teams to create fast-paced, high-retention, conversion-focused video content that is built for digital platforms.

This is not just a “make it look good” editing role. We’re looking for someone who understands hooks, storytelling, audience attention spans, pacing, motion, and visual hierarchy, and can turn raw footage, UGC content, product assets, and AI-generated visuals into engaging, ad-ready creatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit short-form videos for Meta ads, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other social-first platforms

  • Create performance-driven ad creatives focused on retention, engagement, and conversions

  • Edit UGC-style ads, promotional videos, product videos, and social media content

  • Create motion-led video content using animations, kinetic typography, text effects, transitions, and visual effects

  • Develop engaging motion graphics and animated elements to communicate product benefits, offers, features, statistics, and key messaging

  • Use After Effects to create custom animations, text treatments, transitions, visual effects, and compositing

  • Add motion to static creatives, product images, screenshots, UI elements, and AI-generated assets to make them more dynamic and engaging

  • Create animated hooks, visual callouts, product highlights, CTA animations, and end cards for performance creatives

  • Use keyframing, masking, tracking, easing, and basic compositing to create polished motion sequences

  • Combine editing, sound design, motion graphics, and visual storytelling to improve viewer retention

  • Work closely with the creative and marketing teams to understand campaign objectives and brand tonality

  • Use AI tools to speed up and improve the video creation workflow

  • Refine and polish AI-generated visuals/videos to make them production and ad-ready

  • Experiment with different editing styles, motion treatments, hooks, and creative formats for ad testing

  • Follow brand guidelines while maintaining creative quality and platform relevance

  • Incorporate feedback quickly and maintain fast turnaround times

Requirements

  • Strong working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in video editing for social media and performance marketing

  • Experience editing Meta ads, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and product ad videos

  • Good understanding of hooks, pacing, storytelling, transitions, sound design, and visual hierarchy

  • Strong understanding of motion graphics, kinetic typography, text animation, and visual effects

  • Ability to create smooth and engaging animations using keyframes, easing, masking, tracking, and basic compositing

  • Experience creating UGC-style ads and short-form performance creatives

  • Ability to animate static assets, product visuals, screenshots, and design elements into engaging video content

  • Understanding of how motion and editing can be used to improve attention, retention, and conversion

  • Understanding of AI video tools such as Higgsfield, Kling 3.0, Google Flow, or similar platforms

  • Ability to use AI tools effectively to improve efficiency and creative output

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver platform-native edits

  • Ability to take feedback positively and work in a collaborative remote environment

Good to Have

  • Experience working with D2C brands

  • Understanding of performance marketing and ad creative testing

  • Knowledge of social media trends and short-form content formats

  • Experience working in a marketing or creative agency

  • Experience with advanced motion graphics, compositing, 3D elements, or visual effects

  • Familiarity with tools such as Cinema 4D, Blender, or other motion/3D tools

  • Experience creating multiple creative variations for performance testing

If you enjoy building high-performing creatives, experimenting with AI and motion workflows, and creating content built for the internet, we’d love to hear from you.
