Job Description:

On behalf of our client based in Beoley, Redditch (B98) we are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join their dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks within a chilled warehouse environment, including materials handling, stocking, and ensuring the smooth operation of shipping and receiving processes.

Responsibilities

  • Handle materials with care during loading, unloading, picking, packing, and shipping processes.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse space to ensure a safe working environment.

  • Perform heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.

  • Assist in stocking shelves and organising products for easy access.

  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines.

  • Participate in training sessions related to warehouse operations, safety protocols, and equipment usage.

  • Handle various food items such as fruits, vegetables, chicken, lamb and pork.

Qualifications

  • Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.

  • Familiarity with materials handling techniques and safety practices in a warehouse setting.

  • Experience with picking & packing processes is advantageous.

  • Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures is beneficial.

  • Ability to operate forklifts; certification is a plus but can be obtained through training.

  • Strong physical fitness to manage heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or walking.
