Clinical Pharmacist, Independent Prescriber

About AIOS

AIOS is building the world’s first full-stack AI doctor.

We’re at $450M ARR, growing from $7M/yr in April 2025. We’re faithfully serving >200k/mo patients via Bolt Pharmacy, our main UK brand. We’ve just launched Bolt Med, our international brand. We’re profitable.

Our strategy exists at the intersection of two strong theses:

  1. The AI doctor that wins will get to escape velocity using GLP-1s, the fastest growing consumer product in history.

  2. The $2T European healthcare market is overlooked by the most talented builders.

Our master plan:

  • Step 0 → $100M/yr by end of 2025: We went from $10M to $100M in 6 months serving the UK GLP-1 market.

  • Step 1 → $1B ARR by end of 2026: Since April 2025 we've grown from 3k to 200k UK active GLP-1 patients. We’ll continue this growth curve to hit $1B ARR.

  • Step 2 → $10B ARR by end of 2028: Blitzscale Europe. We’ll be Europe’s largest GLP-1 provider.

  • Step 3 → $100B/yr by end of 2030: Get regulatory approval across Europe for our Full Autonomous Prescribing (FAP) system. Win contracts at scale with European payers to mass replace human labor. We’ll be the dominant full-stack AI doctor in Europe.

  • Step 4 → $1T/yr by end of 2035: With one line of code and zero human time, you can use AIOS to treat any patient globally with any medication.

In so doing, we’ll become the world’s first trillion-dollar healthcare company.

We’re a young, founder-led company. This is still Day 1 and all our work is ahead of us.

Being a Clinical Pharmacist at AIOS

We are building a world-class team.

At AIOS Tech (Bolt Pharmacy), we're building the world's first full-stack AI doctor. Right now it's akin to assisted self-driving (and improving every day), so humans are prescribing with AI assisting their workflows.

You'll join our growing team of Independent Prescribers, working through GLP-1 weight-management consultations day in, day out. You understand that a great patient experience means catching everything you need to prescribe safely and confidently first time - not sending someone back and forth for information you should have picked up on intake.

You'll assess each patient on their own merits: the comorbidity, the interacting medication, the case that needs a second look, and make the right call. You’ll never compromise on safety or accuracy.

You'll:

  • Deliver safe, evidence-based GLP-1 prescribing for every patient on your list

  • Take full ownership of the clinical quality, safety and accuracy of your own consultations and records

  • Flag anything that needs escalating—a red flag, a near miss, a protocol gap—clearly and quickly

  • Follow, and help sharpen, our clinical protocols as they evolve

This role is suited to a confident, forward-thinking prescriber with sound clinical judgement, excellent attention to detail, and a strong commitment to patient safety.

Great performance in this role means your patients are safe, your records hold up to audit, and you're working through a full, steady caseload without ever cutting corners. If you nail this role, you'll be a strong candidate for more senior clinical positions as we grow.

This is an ongoing contractor engagement - full-time (40h) preferred, part-time (20h+) available - fully remote/WFH or hybrid onsite in Blackburn.

You’ll report directly to your team lead.

You’ll also work most closely with:

  • Noozhat Patel (UK Clinical Operations Lead)

  • Mobeen Nawaz (Clinical Team Lead)

  • Adedayo Titiloye (Deputy Superintendent Pharmacist)

Key Responsibilities

  • Prescribing: Deliver safe, evidence-based GLP-1 prescribing for every patient you see — assessing suitability, comorbidities and contraindications before you write anything.

  • Consultations: Run detailed, efficient consultations that capture everything you need the first time, so patients aren't stuck in back-and-forth messiness.

  • Monitoring: Track treatment response and side effects across your caseload, and adjust care promptly and safely.

  • Escalation: Recognise what's outside your remit, and escalate red flags, near misses or complex cases to your Senior Clinician Team Lead quickly and clearly.

  • Documentation: Keep accurate, concise and contemporaneous clinical records that hold up to audit.

  • Governance: Contribute to clinical audits, incident learning and quality improvement when asked.

  • Collaboration: Work smoothly with customer support, operational and technology teams to keep the service safe and moving in service of our patient base.

Need to Have

  • Registration: GPhC-registered pharmacist with an Independent Prescriber (IP) annotation, held for at least 1 year.

  • GLP-1 Confidence: You've prescribed weight-management, GLP-1s or a closely related area — comorbidities and polypharmacy don't throw you off protocol.

  • Clinical Reasoning: You think clearly and quickly within a protocol-led service.

  • Safety Mindset: Patient safety and quality are non-negotiable for you. Red flags don't get past you.

  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication, including confident patient counselling.

  • Pace: Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-volume, protocol-led environment, and you don't let volume compromise accuracy.

  • Digital Literacy: Confident using electronic health records and remote consultation platforms.

  • Flexibility: Willing to support evening or weekend rotas when needed. With sufficient notice, you work the hours that our patients need you to work so they can be served without long wait times and unnecessary friction.

Nice to Have

  • Consultation Modes: Experience with asynchronous, telephone and/or video consultations.

  • Specialist Training: Additional training in obesity or weight management, such as SCOPE certification.

  • Postgraduate: A postgraduate clinical diploma or equivalent.

  • Complex Patients: Comfortable managing patients with diabetes, cardiovascular disease, renal impairment or polypharmacy.

  • Governance Experience: Some experience contributing to clinical audits, incident investigations or quality-improvement projects.

  • Protocols: Exposure to developing SOPs, clinical protocols or prescribing pathways.

  • Startup Pace: Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, ideally in the weight loss space.

  • Growth Mindset: An interest in eventually mentoring or supporting more junior colleagues as you grow with us.

  • Systems: Familiarity with clinical support and customer management systems.

🎯 “You just build a f*ing amazing experience. Make each step amazing. Make every decision in the long term interest of the customer. Give the customer massively more value than you take.”

Training and onboarding

  • Training is delivered completely remotely

  • The duration of training is a minimum of 2 days, with scheduling negotiable depending on experience and prior exposure to GLP-1 prescribing or digital health services.

  • Ongoing mentoring and support are provided throughout your induction and practice.

  • Following successful completion of the training period, the role transitions to remote working.
